Configuration Management Technician with TS/SCI CI Poly at it's Chantilly, VA location.

Responsibilities

The Technical Documentation Specialist (TDS) will be part of the Data Management team and has responsibilities mainly in the areas of technical publications and documentation. The candidate will be responsible for supporting documentation on the network engineering and network management products and services that AT&T manages for a government customer. In this role the candidate will maintain technical documentation databases, spreadsheets, technical drawings, and documents using Microsoft Office or other applications to accurately create project documentation. The TDS will demonstrate a leadership role in all documentation related to the network projects and service and will communicate with the network architectural and operations organizations.

Responsibilities Include:
  • Serve as the authority for all configuration management items for the customer's networks.
  • Develop and maintain technical product and services documentation including network diagrams, configurations, standard operating procedures, and presentations for various approval and change management boards
  • Develop, prepare and/or maintain documentation pertaining to business processes, systems operation, product development and other technical processes.
  • Create new documentation or update existing documentation to accurately reflect changes in a product, services, or process.
  • Collaborate with other AT&T and customer organizations to ensure proper accounting of site specific processes, configuration items, and customer requirements
  • Work and adhere to our security policies and procedures and orders.

Qualifications

Clearance Required: TS/SCI with CI Polygraph

Desired Certification

: Meet 8570 IAT Level 2 certification requirements.

Education/

Years of Experience: Candidate must have 10 years of experience that can be a combination of work history and education. This equates to a Doctorate and 3 years of experience OR Masters and 4 years, Bachelors and 6 years, Associates and 8 years or HS and 10 years.
  • Advanced word processing skills and experience with related editing software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Adobe Acrobat)
  • Experience with MS Visio, Project, Word, Excel
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Detail oriented
  • Effective time management skills
  • Experience working within the IP network and information system technologies
  • Motivated self-starter
