Data Engineer

Data Engineer is required for a contract position of 2 years in Fairfax, VA. This is 100% remote for now, eventually will be 2-3 day's ON-SITE.

Job Description:

Softworld is seeking a Sr Data Engineer to support our clients financial transaction end customer, their product monitors digital air play of music and collects monies for distribution to the artists/songwriters who own the right to the music. The two teams they are looking to bring someone on is the distribution team and the infrastructure team (working with common components). There will be a mix of working on new development, new features, and existing systems.

The Data Engineer will be supporting data migrations and mapping. The ideal candidate should be proficient in SQL based databases and tools including SQL Server, Postgres and ETL tools. Also experienced in database migration and tools, preferably AWS Cloud Data Migration.

Duration:

2 year contract.
