Digital Signal Processing Engineer, LeadKey Role:

Fulfill critical customer mission needs in a multi-discipline lab environment. Implement high speed RF signal processing algorithms that perform signal processing operations on high-speed data channels. Analyze mission critical system and providing insights that will ensure mission success. Evaluate RF communications systems and methods that provide security and resilience. Design, develop, modify, and evaluate complicated systems, signals, or perform systems engineering trades. Analyze and recommend design approaches for new or improved products or processes. Consolidate the results of design elements for assigned projects and conduct independent technical investigations into process specifications and requirements.

Basic Qualifications:
  • 8+ years experience as a senior digital design engineer translating signal processing algorithms or techniques into real-time implementations
  • Experience optimizing designs to meet timing requirements
  • Experience implementing RF signal processing algorithms including Fourier analysis algorithms, signal correlators, matched filters, and other algorithms commonly used in signal detection
  • Knowledge of modem core design principals
  • Knowledge of digital signal processing fundamentals and how to process noisy channels
  • TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
  • Bachelor's in EE or Computer Engineering

Additional Qualifications:
  • Experience with dataflow design frameworks for Xilinx FPGAs
  • Experience interfacing with high speed memory interfaces
  • Experience in multi-channel coherent RF signal processing
  • Knowledge of RF front end design, common artifacts they may introduce into signal data, and techniques to minimize their impact on desired signal processing outcomes
  • Master's degree in EE
