Click here for information on Aerospace's COVID-19 directives and safety procedures implemented to keep our workplace safe.The National Systems Group serves as the technical adviser to the National Reconnaissance Office and its mission partners involved in the collection and distribution of national and tactical intelligence, including electronics programs, ground and communications, imagery programs, and systems engineering and launch The GEOINT Futures Office provides on-site technical support for a major systems acquisition program within the Aerospace National Systems Group Imagery Programs Division, that was selected as a pioneer program for the customer's new Integrated Program Office approach to acquisition. This cutting edge program office operates via a collaborative Integrated Product Team (IPT) structure, that employs agile processes to drive decision making down to the lowest levels while encouraging innovative ideas to deliver new capabilities faster.What You'll Be Doing- Responsible for direct customer technical and programmatic support in an Agile, Capability-based acquisition of a next generation sensing system.
- Lead thread-based mission assessments and spearhead the delivery of end-to-end capabilities across the Enterprise
- Oversee development and utilization of architecting products for systems and services acquisitions, include program plans, requirements development, traceability, concepts of operation, verification and validation plans, interface definition, alternative solution trade studies, performance analysis, and system level design trades.
- Perform complex mission system engineering & integration investigations for end-to-end data-driven sensor system
- Identify and assist in resolution of technical interface issues between the program and the other Enterprise segments
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering/Science or equivalent.
- At least 12 years' of progressively more responsible engineering experience.
- Experience in the acquisition, development and/or operations of remote sensing systems and a background in systems engineering
- Experience with agile development practices
- This position requires a current and active TS/SCI security clearance and polygraph, which is issued by the US government. U.S citizenship is required to obtain a security clearance
- An advanced degree
- End-to-end perspective experience with national space systems enterprise architecture
- Experience working with the NRO and/or NGA systems architecture
- Experience with NRO & NGA System Engineering best practices
- Exposure to Activity-based Intelligence concepts
- Understanding of end-to-end TCPED process in support of IC & DoD
- Experience leading teams
- Must be proactive, have excellent communication and inter-personal skills and be able to employ corporate resources effectively to address customer study needs
