- 10+ years of overall software development experience
- 2+ years of full stack development experience using Node.js and Angular (or similar)
- Must have a bachelor's degree
- Must have or be able to obtain a DoD SECRET clearance
- In-depth knowledge of JavaScript and Typescript
- In-depth knowledge of SQL (MySQL / PostgreSQL)
- Experience building and consuming REST APIs
- Experience with backend application frameworks such as NestJS or Spring Boot
- Experience with AWS Services and experience building off them (Lambda, RDS, ECS, Fargate, Step Functions)
- Experience with writing automated tests
- Experience with Git and GitFlow development workflow
- Ability to define, create, and execute unit tests
- Ability to organize data and write performant queries
- Experience working with API gateways such as Kong
- Experience with or knowledge of Army Budget / PPBE process
- Experience with containers, docker, or kubernetes
- Knowledge of authentication/authorization best practices (OAuth 2, SAML, LDAP, ABAC, etc)
- Knowledge of TLS/SSL
- Experience securing sensitive data
- Experience deploying applications in DoD or other accredited federal environments
- Ability to reverse engineer legacy code and convert it to modern features (namely, ASP.NET)
- Experience developing within DISA's Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs)
- Ability to write technical subtasks for user stories for application features
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills. You may be regularly working with the product owner to demo features and brainstorm new ideas
