Job Description

Perform daily system operations tasks to verify system integrity and availability, mentor and support associates in daily tasks and troubleshooting. Manage the changes and project activities, and communicate with impacted stakeholders and support installation and maintenance of Cerner solutions, layered software, and infrastructure. Evaluate, update, and improve project documentation, Develop and deploy automation tools to optimize daily activities, Provide Tier III and other support per service request. Working Environment Hybrid or Remote This position offers a Hybrid or Remote working environment. Meaning if you live within a metro area of a Cerner office, you will split working time between a Cerner office and remote. If you are not within a metro area of a Cerner office, you can live and work in your current geographical location and work primarily remote. #LI-Hybrid #Remote

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications
  • At least 6 years total combined related work experience and completed higher education, including:
    • At least 1 year system administration and/or system engineering work experience
    • At least 5 years additional work experience directly related to the duties of the job and/or completed higher education, including:
      • Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or related field, or equivalent relevant work experience
Expectations
  • Perform other responsibilities as assigned
  • Provide 24/7 on-call support as needed
  • Willing to work additional or irregular hours as needed and allowed by local regulations
  • Work in accordance with corporate and organizational security policies and procedures, understand personal role in safeguarding corporate and client assets, and take appropriate action to prevent and report any compromises of security within scope of position
