Lead CND Fusion Engineer JOB SUMMARY GuidePoint Security is seeking a Lead CND Fusion Engineer who will serve as the principle technical advisor and subject matter expert for Threat Intelligence services. The engineer shall be an expert for enterprise fusion analysis. The Engineer shall be familiar with the utilization, configuration, and implementation of industry standard cyber threat actor research and analysis capabilities. The Engineer shall understand the lifecycle of the network threats, attack vectors and methods of exploitation.

What You'll Get To Do:

  • Build threat intelligence reporting, threat intelligence data sources/services, advance persistent threat actor practices, advanced persistent threat actor identification and tracking methods, advanced log analysis, network monitoring, and network flow analysis.
  • Aids in cyber threat actor identification and tracking, facilitation of comprehensive procedures for collaboration.
  • Assists in creating defensive measures to defend against advanced cyber threat actors.
  • Assists in responding to escalated information security incidents, providing technical expertise
  • Provide continuous cyber threat, risk and defense reporting/data analysis to support proactive defense posture.
  • Support the development of workforce announcements to inform enterprise employees of general or specific threats to either Government networks or employees.
  • Provide Cyber Defense Analysis Training support to provide formalized training on core cyber defense analysis mission functions and key fundamental processes in identifying and tracking threat groups.
  • Provide Cyber Defense Threat Analysis Collaboration Session support to prepare and operate the Annual Cyber Defense Threat Analysis Collaboration Session. The Contractor shall perform support needed to share information on threat actor groups, emerging threats, analysis methodologies and innovative efforts in Cyber Defense Threat Analysis.

You'll Bring These Qualifications:

  • 7 years of experience in Cybersecurity
  • 4 years of Cyber Threat Intelligence experience at midsize or large organizations
  • Understands fusion analysis processes and procedures
  • Experience building and distributing Cyber Threat Intelligence reports and workforce TTPs
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to think abstractly, outside the box, etc
  • Collaborative- You understand that solving problems is a team effort
  • Bachelor's Degree in a Technical field (i.e. Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Science)
  • DoD 8140.01 / DoD 8570.01-M.IAT Level II Certification
  • DoD 8570.01-M.CSSP Infrastructure Support Certification
  • Active TS/SCI Clearance with CI or Full Scope Polygraph (US Citizenship required)
