Title: DIRECT-HIRE Senior Network Security Analyst - Firewall ( w/ active DOD TS/SCI security clearance) Location: Washington DC ( Anacostia area) Security clearance: Must have active DOD TS/SCI security clearance Base Salary Estimated Range: $115,000 - 195,000/yr w2 + Benefits & Bonuses PLEASE NOTE: Per client requirements, candidates must show proof of vaccination for Covid 19 to qualify For immediate consideration, please call Adam on his office line (301-212-7355) or his cell ( 240-601-8546) ALTA IT Services is hiring a Senior Network Security Analyst-Firewall Responsibilities & Duties include, but are not limited to: Provide senior level expertise to design, plan, and provision network environments, maintain current architecture, support existing customers, capacity planning and escalations support Analyze the current environment and provide proficient security solutions and best in class firewall/IPS/Anti-virus (AV)/VPN, spam and web filtering solutions that align to meet the Agency's requirements. Perform analyses of network security requirements and contribute to the design, integration, and installation of firewall hardware and software. Develop and document infrastructure support requirements as required by the Government and monitor trends and recommend future firewall architecture strategies and roadmaps. Provide support for modifying firewall rule sets, troubleshooting, analyzing network traffic flows and application lockdown in an enterprise environment. Assist with the planning, design, implementation, securing and monitoring of firewalls in a broad network infrastructure across multiple Government agencies with a variety of missions. May be subject to non-standard work hours and approximately two after hour calls per week. Minimum of 8140/8570 IAT Level II and Palo Alto Networks Certified Network Security Administrator (PCNSA) and/or CCNP Security required. Required: A minimum of 8 years of experience with the following firewall technologies - Cisco, Palo Alto, Check Point and/or Fortinet. Must have an active TS/SSBI. BA/BS in Engineering or IT related discipline. Demonstrated hands-on experience with Internet protocols, packet capture and analysis, Secure Shell (SSH), Transport Layer Security (TLS)/Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) and vulnerability assessment tools. Demonstrated expertise in modifying firewall rule sets, troubleshooting, analyzing network traffic flows and application lockdown in an enterprise environment. Additional Cisco or Palo Alto Certifications.
