The Software Implementation and Integration Department within the Information Systems and Cyber Division (ISCD) work with the latest in information system technologies developing software for use with elastic compute clouds, containerization, microservices, real-time operating systems, and visualization frameworks, with software engineering and process improvement to deliver responsive, resilient, high-performance software intensive systems to our IC, DoD, and civilian customers.

What You'll Be Doing
  • Supporting a wide variety of customers from government to commercial sectors by providing expertise in software development and rapid prototyping and assisting customers in applying these techniques toward mission success
  • Providing software development expertise to support the use of modern development best practices and competences such as Agile, Scaled Agile Framework, and/or DevSecOps
  • Participating in engineering studies across the software development lifecycle.
  • Supporting software solutions through proof of concept development and minimum viable products
  • Serve as a technical lead for software development and/or review teams
  • Duties, responsibilities, and activities may change, or new ones may be assigned as needed

What You Need to be Successful

Minimum Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or advanced degree from an accredited program in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or closely related technical discipline
  • 12 or more years of experience in software development; designing, writing, testing, and fielding software systems or web-based applications.
  • Strong proficiency in one or more programming languages (such as Java, Python, C/C, and/or C#)
  • Ability to work both independently and in a collaborative environment
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to work on multiple simultaneous tasks and adapt to changing priorities
  • Willing to travel domestically approx. 10%
  • This position requires ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance, which is issued by the US government. U.S citizenship is required to obtain a security clearance.

How You Can Stand Out

It would be impressive if you have one or more of these:
  • Advanced degree from an accredited program in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or closely related technical discipline
  • Hands-on experience in Agile/DevSecOps software development and/or cloud development (such as Azure and AWS)
  • Experience in Model-based Systems Engineering (MBSE) and/or digital engineering
  • Demonstrated experience on space domain systems
  • Active or recent Secret clearance with ability to obtain and maintain TS/SSBI and SCI access
