Design, develop, and test web-based Java applications in a 3-tier computing environment

Adhere to coding standards, procedures and techniques while contributing to the technical code documentation including detailed application and final user documentation

Participate in project planning sessions with project managers, business analysts and team members to analyze business requirements and outline the proposed IT solution

Participate in design reviews and provide input to the design recommendations Incorporate security requirements into the design

Provide input to the information/data flow for the proposed solution

Understand and comply with the SDLC methodology in all planning, designing and development steps

Adhere to the CACI and client configuration management control and QA policies

Translate the technical requirements into programmed application modules and develop/enhance the software application modules

Participate in code reviews

Ensure all solutions are aligned to pre-defined architectural specifications

Identify and troubleshoot application code-related issues (Tier-3 Support)

Review and provide feedback to the final user documentation

Work with the quality assurance and system test team to quickly resolve issues

You’ll Bring These Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent, and 5+ years of related experience

Experience with the following technologies are required: Java, J2EE, Struts 2.0, JSP, Spring, Hibernate, IBM WebSphere, Application Server, IBM MQ Series, Oracle 10g and 11g, XML

A Public Trust clearance is required to begin employment. For this position, CACI has the ability to provide clearance sponsorship for qualified individuals.

These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:

Java Programmer Certification: Java SE 7 Certified Programmer
