Aerospace is seeking an innovative, experienced leader to transform the practice of mission assurance and enterprise integration across the company. The newly instantiated Integration division within the Corporate Chief Engineer's Office is chartered to foster collaboration within Aerospace and with Aerospace customers, partners, and stakeholders. The Systems Director for Integration will manage and disseminate corporate wisdom, evolve corporate practices to be more agile and responsive, and bring people together address hard enterprise systems engineering problems. In this role, you will be an active part of shaping the future of Aerospace through the development and oversight of workshops, corporate reviews, forums, and technologies to enable the sharing of wisdom throughout the company.

Work Model: May work out of any of Aerospace's corporate locations. Part-time telework may be authorized depending on customer needs and management approval.

What You'll Be Doing
  • Identify and develop mission assurance approaches that serve a highly dynamic future space industry
  • Build bridges across Aerospace and its customers set to achieve enterprise integration and efficiency
  • Evolve corporate processes, instructions, and standards to address Aerospace customers' needs for speed, resilience, and innovation in a contested environment
  • Manage and improve the corporate knowledge base and develop new ways of information sharing
  • Provide thought leadership to advance agile mission assurance and systems engineering initiatives
  • Establish, facilitate, and lead Aerospace and partner forums to improve the state of the aerospace industry
  • Advance and evolve the Early Problem Alert Program, the Industrial Base Action Team, and the Aerospace President's Review processes

What You Need to be Successful

Minimum Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in engineering, science or math
  • 12 or more years of dynamically responsible relevant professional engineering / scientific experience including program office and systems engineering
  • Moderate Travel Required (post COVID-19)
  • Proven experience in building and leading teams with diverse skills mix
  • Demonstrated oral and written communication skills
  • Current SCI access, which is issued by the US government. U.S citizenship is required to obtain a security clearance

How You Can Stand Out

It would be impressive if you have one or more of these:
  • Advanced technical degree in engineering, science, or math
  • Aerospace ETG and Program Office leadership experience
  • Experience managing remote staff
  • Current, or ability to obtain SAP accesses

Grade-Based Pay Range

(Min - Mid - Max)$117,027 - $192,281 - $267,534
