Description SAIC has an immediate opening for an RF Systems Engineer to support an important and exciting mission area with strategic and tactical relevance. The successful candidate will apply their deep analytical background to help the customer perform technical system engineering to support mission needs. The candidate must be able to operate independently to meet the requirements of the position. Excellent attention to detail, responsiveness to customer needs and an analytic curiosity are important. Delivery of high quality and timely products to address requests is essential. Qualifications
  • Must have a minimum of 15 years of relevant technical experience
  • Must currently hold a TS/SCI and Poly
  • Demonstrated familiarity with radio frequency (RF) based technologies and with commercial satellite communication systems and/or mobile communication systems
  • Experience with CONOPS formulation, requirements definition, analysis and engineering, interface and data architectures, validation and verification, systems integration, system & operational performance analysis
  • Experience conducting and supporting system architecture development to include creation of top-level requirements and requirements derivation
  • Experience creating, and reviewing test and integration plans
  • Experience conducting requirements verification and validation
  • Experience specifying analytic requirements to support program objectives in telecommunications
  • Experience summarizing analysis into briefings/reports to document the methodology used and the results obtained
  • Ability to research new telecommunication technologies
  • Experience maintaining awareness of data sources and analytic methods to offer new insights and respond to urgent requirements
  • Demonstrative ability to work collaboratively with others
Desired:
  • Bachelors' degree or higher
  • Familiarity with the fundamentals of communications
