Description SAIC is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Systems Engineer to join our team at Chantilly, Virginia to provide unparalleled support to our customer and to begin an exciting and rewarding career. This position provides support to the Office of the Director of National Intelligence (ODNI) Chief Information Officer. The successful candidate will support the technical sustainment and direction of the Software License Management as a Service project for the ODNI CIO. They will help monitor all technical aspects of schedule, administration and performance. They will also be responsible for coordination and collaboration with our subcontractor on this project, the SLMaaS and Anakin PMs and Government officials, to keep them informed and up to date on the program technical status.

Duties will include but are not limited to:
  • Provide the technical end-to-end life cycle support of the SLMaaS
  • Plan, implement, test, document, and maintain solutions as we move the SLMaaS to other components throughout ODNI
  • Provide systems engineering perspective of the sustainment and sustainment solutions
  • Coordinate with team to ensure problem solution, risk reduction and user satisfaction
  • Perform network modeling, analysis, and planning
  • Specify, develop, verify, and validate system availability requirements, operational availability, data access and data security
  • Conduct readiness reviews and verify transition inputs
  • Define operational processes and procedures, Operational Readiness Plan and data assessments
  • Identify requirements; incorporate, integrate and tests requirements; provide status of requirements
  • Provide project oversight, continual assessments and recommendations to address dependencies and risk management
Qualifications
  • T S/SCI cleared with CI polygraph
  • Bachelor's degree or 5-10 years of Systems Engineering experience
  • Minimum of 3 years within the Intelligence Community
  • Experience working at the enterprise level
  • Agile software development experience
  • Degree will be in a discipline relevant to the performance of the position
  • Familiarity with ICD 503
  • Excellent customer engagement skills
