Responsibilities

Perspecta's Intelligence Group - Space Programs is searching for a Test Lead for leading and directing the integration of space capabilities in support of the war-fighting missions of combatant commanders being acquired by the United States Air Force. The mission is to contribute to the development of low-cost, rapid reaction payloads, buses, launch, and launch control capabilities in order to fulfill joint military operational requirements.

The successful candidate should be a subject matter expert in enterprise, system and sub-system space/ground verification, validation and testing.

The Test Lead will lead the integration and test management, requirements definition, planning and scheduling; development of test plans and procedures; preparing and conducting tests; development of software for supporting integration and tests; and the review, analysis and documentation of test results. The Test Lead will be responsible for supporting space and ground segments accomplishing all integration and test activities required to ensure all segments are integrated, tested, delivered and supported.

The Test Lead will direct an integration and test team executing functions associated with delivering space, ground and infrastructure capabilities in a rapid and agile manner, demonstrating all key technologies and capabilities of a complex enterprise, and providing a clear path forward for future capabilities with incremental technology insertion. The Test Lead will be responsible for the successful integration and deployment of an enterprise set of capabilities.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors or Master's (preferred) degree in an engineering or technical subject
  • Requires 12 to 15 years with BS/BA or 10 to 13 years with MS/MA or 7 to 9 years with Ph.D.
  • 10 years of satellite experience with the verification, validation and testing of space/ground segment/systems engineering environments on ACAT 1 satellite programs
  • 5 years of SE&I experience including space/ground architecture, requirements, IV&V, experiments, transition to operations
  • 5 years of experience with integrating and testing new and emergent space/ground/infrastructure technologies and capabilities
  • Experienced with software development, delivery and test including CI/CD and DevSecOps environments
  • Experience with space offensive and defensive environment and the space situational awareness mission
  • Strong experience and familiarity with Advanced Framework for Simulation, Integration and Modeling (AFSIM)
  • Demonstrated ability to identify, assess, and resolve complex space/ground/infrastructure issues, anomalies and discrepancies with diverse developers
  • Demonstrated success in holding their teams accountable for technical accuracy and completion
  • Strong communication skills able to effectively communicate complex issues, risks and opportunities
  • Experience with MBSE, and Agile Software methodologies.
  • (Desired) Certifications commensurate with area of study and experience (ESEP, PE, PMP, etc.)
  • Active Top Secret clearance is required with SCI.
