Corporate Governance & SecurityThe office of the chief of staff is responsible for oversight and guidance for all projects at Perspecta. The chief of staff organizes and prioritizes critical issues and required information for the CEO and executive team to facilitate efficient decision making, and acts as a liaison between top management and other stakeholders. The office also manages congressional engagement, as well as provides oversight of the quality excellence and security organizations.

Responsibilities

Provides technical security support to for government and DoD programs. Duties include but not limited to: interpreting, implementing and administering security policy; monitoring management of personnel access quotas, program access request processing, first tier adjudication performance and periodic reinvestigation processing; and conducting program indoctrinations and debriefings. Perform classification review of outgoing documents, electronic media and equipment; assist in the development of classification guidance; advice on facility design review and construction criteria; assemble data for preparation of physical security Inspectable Space Determination (TEMPEST) packages, AIS and physical security packages; develop and implement facility operating procedures; prepare Co-Utilization Agreements; maintain physical security, AIS, and TEMPEST records; administer OPSEC process to determine appropriate countermeasures; and receives direction from the Government PSO.
  • Position is for a Contract Program Security Officer (CPSO) who will serve as a CPSO supporting Business Development and Proposals activities for the Intelligence Community (IC), Department of Defense (DoD), and other government activities in Chantilly, Va.
  • Candidate will be responsible for assisting or creating solutions for the protection of all aspects of a classified program to include personnel, physical, information, and acquisition. Ensure compliance and security education utilizing the requirements set forth in the NISPOM, NISPOM Overprint, DCIDs, ICDs and other specific guidance as required. Duties also include supporting classified meetings, providing program management support and classification management support. Develops, and administers security programs and procedures for classified or proprietary materials, documents, and equipment. Studies and implements federal security regulations that apply to company operations. Obtains rulings, interpretations, and acceptable deviations for compliance with regulations from government agencies. Prepares manuals outlining regulations, and establishes procedures for handling, storing, and keeping records, and for granting personnel and visitors access to restricted records and materials. Conducts security education classes. Investigates security violations and prepares reports specifying preventive action to be taken.
  • Candidate will be responsible for on-going acquisition efforts within the United States government for the corporation from cradle to grave. Review efforts for security requirements, write responses or assign others as necessary, and review responses for compliance prior to submittal. Coordinate with CIO, Business Development, and Information Systems Security to ensure proper space, systems, accounts, and approvals are in place for each acquisition effort.
  • Candidate will be report locally to senior security management for daily direction and must interact with the government customer on a daily basis.
  • Candidate will act as the site liaison with Facilities and other functional groups within the Proposal Center

Qualifications

  • Requires 10 to 12 years experience with BS/BA or 8 to 10 years with MS/MA
  • Must currently hold TS/SCI w/ polygraph.
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience within security, preferably within program security.
  • Technical writing experience is a plus.
  • Working knowledge of NISPOM, DCIDs, and ICDs (including 705).
  • Ability to work within a team environment or independently.
