- Utilizing Microsoft's .NET infrastructure to create software solutions that meet clients' requirements.
- Collaborate with coworkers to facilitate the creation of large, complex developments, as required.
- Reformulate existing code to ensure adherence to stipulated guidelines.
- Check your code to detect and remedy errors and omissions.
- Test your outputs to ensure that they are in excellent working order.
- Ensure that outputs are visually appealing, user-friendly, and engaging.
- Deploying developments and monitoring uptake by the target audience.
- Using clients' feedback to inform the creation of subsequent versions of each development.
- 5 Years IT Experience
- 3 Years .Net Developer Experience
- 2 years SAFe and/or Agile / Scrum environment experience
- Experience with .Net coding and unit testing in an enterprise environment
- Experience with Docker, Maven, Jira
- Experience with CI/CD using Git and Jenkins
- Experience with Oracle, PostgreSQL, and/or MongoDB databases, would be helpful
- Experience with Cloud (AWS and/or Azure) environments, would be helpful
- Ability to actively contribute to the sprint planning, review, and retrospective meetings
- Ability to work with business analysts, developers, and testers in SAFe / Agile / Scrum teams in a highly results orientated environment utilizing CI/CD principles
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, analytical, decision-making, time management and customer service skills
- A flair for creating well-presented software that is technically sound
- Familiarity with client specific solution components, such as Defense Medical Logistics Standard Solution (DMLSS), Military Health Services (MHS) GENESIS, LogiCole, Cerner Millennium and/or InterSystems (HealthConnect/IRIS/HealthShare), would be helpful
- Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering or other engineering or technical discipline (8 years of additional relevant experience may be substituted for education)
- MCSD or MCPD certification, would be preferred
- Must be able to achieve a moderate (Tier 2) VA position of trust
