Description SAIC is seeking a SecDevOps Lead to manage a team of SecDevOps engineers to oversee Continuous Integration, Continuous Delivery and automation efforts for a large, complex project. SecDevOps Lead will champion the collaboration and communication between security, development, test, and IT operations in order to establish a culture where building, testing, and releasing software happens rapidly and frequently with minimal re-work, focusing on process improvement to drive and utilize metrics to increase efficiency and always keeping security in the forefront of SDLC. Job Duties Include:
- Drive the development of Security and DevOps culture, process, pipeline and platform behaviors and implement Continuous Integration, Continuous Delivery and automation efforts.
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle, working within broadly defined parameters
- Look for improvement opportunities for long-term DevOps practices and lead change to remove impediments
- Lead and participate in DevOps driven team projects and continuously improve DevOps processes and procedures for best practices
- Proactively contribute to the quality of the product by seeking and proposing new or alternate approaches to address the requirements
- Must have an active/current TS/SCI with Polygraph.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent years and 5+ year of experience
- Demonstrated leadership qualities through prior experience leading teams performing IT services
- 5+ years' experience maintaining and enhancing infrastructure as code with technologies including but not limited to CloudFormation, Terraform, Puppet, AWS CodeDeploy
- 5+ years' experience in Python, Perl, Bash, PHP, and other scripting languages
- 5+ years' experience developing and maintaining complex systems that involved integrating COTS, GOTS, and Open Source components
- 5+ years' experience maintaining Sponsor's enterprise operation systems
- Experience using knowledge management and code repositories including but not limited to Github, Gitlab, Jira, and Confluence
- Ability to write or refactor software code to facilitate deploying applications to standalone compute resources, and the Sponsor's commercial cloud environment
- Familiarity with the Sponsor's security accreditation process
- Experience working in the AWS.
- Experience in Agile-based software delivery, including leading Agile ceremonies
- Strong experience with JIRA and Confluence, and the rest of the Atlassian suite
