Qualifications Knowledge & Experience:

5 years of IT Experience
3 years of Software Quality Assurance / Tester Experience
2 years of Test Automation Experience
2 years SAFe and/or Agile / Scrum environment experience
Experience using agile project management tools (e.g. Jira, VersionOne, Rallye, IBM Rational Team Concert (RTC))
Experience with Test and Behavior Driven Development (TDD/BDD)
Expertise in having built automation framework from scratch to aid with regression and other repeatable tests
Possess thorough knowledge and experience in CI/CD at enterprise level
Ability to actively contribute to the sprint planning, review, and retrospective meetings
Ability to work with business analysts, developers, and fellow testers in SAFe / Agile / Scrum teams in a highly results orientated environment utilizing CI/CD principles
Excellent Communication and Stakeholder management skills
Familiarity with client specific solution components, such as Defense Medical Logistics Standard Solution (DMLSS), Military Health Services (MHS) GENESIS, LogiCole, Cerner Millennium and/or InterSystems (HealthConnect/IRIS/HealthShare), would be helpful

Education/Certifications/Clearance:

Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering or other engineering or technical discipline (8 years of additional relevant experience may be substituted for education)
Must be able to achieve a moderate (Tier 2) VA position of trust.

Responsibilities This role will serve as part of the team supporting the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) with the implementation, integration and sustainment of a fully integrated supply chain solution that provides the full spectrum of medical logistics. The Supply Chain delivers clinical care to Veterans by managing the logistics and flow of supplies and equipment. Supply Chain Management (SCM) ensures that the right equipment and supplies are available when needed, and the Supply Chain Management Product Line (SCM PL) encompasses the activities to procure resources, manage supplies, and deliver goods and services to providers and patients.

This team will be focused on implementing a scalable to support accelerated site deployment, while at the same time supporting integration with additional VA systems and sustainment of current integrations.

The team will have a blend of specific expertise and experience in SAFe Agile, Product Management, Development, Security and Operations (DevSecOps), engineering, and Data Migration.

The Senior Tester have a strong focus on implementing leading testing and automation patterns and practices. They will provide technical leadership and coaching to our automation analysts as well as provide strategic support and direction back into our enterprise testing capability from the inception of an idea through to continuous release practices into production.

Responsibilities:

Execute automation strategy, define and manage automation metrics, and drive process improvements.
Development of holistic delivery team targets and metrics as the influence and responsibilities expand to include a Continuous Integration / Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) engineering
Creation of test strategies for projects in the program
Design / Build Test Plans and Test Summary Reports
Take on a cross-functional role, communicating and working alongside Business Analysts, Developers and Engineers whilst guiding the test team within a single delivery team paradigm.
