Description SAIC has an immediate opening for a motivated and self-driven junior/mid SharePoint Admin or Developer to develop, test, and deploy SharePoint solutions using custom scripts, web parts and features and other advanced tool applications for a dynamic program in Chantilly, Virginia. This is a great opportunity for someone with SharePoint Administration skills to learn development! You should have an understanding and wide application of technical principles, theories, and concepts in the field, to work with the program's diverse workforce bringing together collaboration, efficient workflows, and secure data storage through appealing web design. In this role you would be providing web site support and tool solutions. You should have strong customer service and communication skills and the ability to learn new concepts quickly as well as organization and documentation skills. Qualifications
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience
  • Must currently hold an active TS/SCI w/poly clearance
  • SharePoint client-side development experience using (JavaScript frameworks/libraries and other relevant front-end web technologies) OR SharePoint Administration experience (managing permissions, creating lists/libraries, knowledge of metadata, search criteria) AND the desire to learn development
Nice to Have:
  • Customer support experience is highly desirable
  • Experience in developing Access and/or SQL databases
  • Content / document management experienced preferred
  • Experience with HTML, CSS, XSLT and Master Pages to manipulate look and feel of SharePoint sites and deliver a user-friendly experience to the client
  • Experience with out-of-the-box SharePoint capabilities, including hierarchy, permissions, site and list templates, web parts development, workflow and content management
  • Ability to troubleshoot and remediate issues
