Summary/ObjectiveÂ
The Project Manager II Manages and oversees all aspects of a project to ensure it is completed on-time and within budget. Has overall responsibility for managing scope, cost, schedule, and outside vendors, and contractual deliverable. Works closely with project superintendent managing project resource. Ascertains that project personnel adhere to all company, state and federal safety practices and regulations. Prepares reports for upper management regarding status and budget for project.

Project Management
Performs day to day project management duties on multiple projects
Pre and Post Contract Requirements
Communicate with project superintendents and shop personnel regarding daily project needs
Attend project meetings as required
Communicate with Owner's representative to ensure that our work is meeting their requirements
Identify change of scope items in order to request change orders in a timely fashion as required
Monitor project costs as they relate to the project budget and identify problem areas in order to work towards economical solutions
Provide value engineering insight for the benefit of the Owner as well as the Company
Prepare monthly pay estimates and communicate with accounting representatives as required
Issue purchase orders and subcontract agreements as required
Review and approve subcontractor and supplier invoices on a regular basis
Perform P6 project schedules as required
Supervisory Responsibility
Administers field personnel to achieve completion of the project on schedule, within budget, with quality workmanship that conforms to original plans and specifications in coordination with the project team.
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and may require longer hours and weekend work as tasks require.
Travel/ Driving
Travel is primarily local during the business day, although some out-of-area and overnight travel may be expected.
Must be able to drive, and hold a valid state driving license. ÂWill commute to job sites. On jobsite will drive over uneven terrain.
Recommended Education and Experience
Bachelor or Associate degree in Construction Management or Civil Engineering or another related field.
Requires 2 to 4 years of related site development, excavation, utility, road and drainage construction work.
Preferred Education and Experience
Certification in Project Management a plus
EIT and/or PE (or ability to obtain) also a plus
