UVA Information Technology Services (ITS) is seeking a Senior Windows Server Engineer to join our Enterprise Infrastructure division. The Senior Server Engineer will be responsible for ongoing operations related to maintaining our current automations with System Center Orchestrator and integrations with ServiceNow and other enterprise platforms. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience managing automations with the System Center Product Stack.

Duties Include:
  • System Center Orchestrator Automation Maintenance and Troubleshooting
  • 3rd party integration automations and Troubleshooting.
  • Windows Server Configuration and Maintenance.
  • Provide top tier customer facing support for automations and integrations.
  • Other Windows Automations as needed.
  • Additional responsibilities as assigned.

Required Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma and at least 5 years of relevant experience that includes some experience with a medium to large windows server automation environment. OR a bachelors degree with 2 years of relevant experience
  • Experience with System Center Orchestrator
  • Knowledge of Service Now Integrations
  • Experience with Windows Server administration
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and a customer service mindset
  • Proven End to End Automation Skills
  • Excellent C# and PowerShell Skills
  • Ability to work well with a team and independently on projects
  • Experience with Microsoft 365 Product Stack

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Demonstrated troubleshooting skills
  • Knowledge of VMware ESXi/vCenter
  • Microsoft Azure Skills
  • Knowledge of Azure DevOps and Azure Active Directory

Anticipated hiring rate: $90,000
