UVA Information Technology Services (ITS) seeks applications for a Business Analyst to join Custom Applications and Consulting Services on our Safegrounds development team. The Business Analyst works closely with the Safegrounds development team and University stakeholders in providing functionality and support of this mission critical application.

Please see additional information about joining our team.What you will do:- Work with product owners and other business leaders to identify opportunities for improvement in the SafeGrounds system.
- Collaborate with team members to collect and analyze data.
- Working with stakeholders including data, design, product and executive teams and assisting them with data-related technical issues.
- Perform data analysis and reporting to help to satisfy standardized and ad-hoc reporting needs for SafeGrounds, potentially working with 3rd party toolsets and services to create reports and business analytics.
- Perform administrative duties as needed for the development of SafeGrounds software initiatives.
- This role is an active part of an agile project team delivering software and services to the customer.
Required Qualifications: - 3 or more years of related experience
- Exceptional communication skills
- Ability to analyze customer pain points, propose and implement solutions
- Customer service mindset
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
Preferred Qualifications:- Bachelor's Degree
- Experience with Agile development practices and project management methodologies
- Familiarity with Microsoft Development tools (Visual Studio, MS SQL)
