IT System Support Engineer, Associate

Facilities Management's Technology & Innovation team is seeking a highly motivated IT Systems Support Engineer, Associate to provide daily support of enterprise systems and processes. The incumbent will develop a comprehensive understanding of FM's mission and lines of business and serve as a Tier 2 support resource . They will resolve routine problems, escalate to subject matter experts as needed, and provide patterns for process improvement opportunities. Additionally, they will participate in testing, user training, data reporting/analytics, and other project level activities.

This position is primarily an on-site position.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of FM's portfolio of enterprise systems and integrations
  • Monitor system support logs and reports
  • Respond to customer-initiated interactions such as submitted tickets, phone calls, and emails
  • Identify, track, and coordinate system bugs and feature requests
  • Coordinate resolution with relevant team members
  • Participating in testing and debugging of enterprise systems
  • Plan, organizing, and conduct user training
  • Develop and maintaining system and business process documentation
  • Participate in high-level development activities such as data reporting and analytics; workflow development; and Enterprise system configuration, automation and integration
  • Identify potential process improvements
  • Learn and utilize basic project management concepts and skills including planning, tracking, effective communication

Qualifications:
  • High School diploma required, Associate's degree in Information Systems Technology or related discipline strongly preferred
  • At least one year of experience in technical support in a customer facing role strongly preferred
  • Must be highly self-motivated
  • Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills and will be highly effective at engaging with customers and diverse stakeholders throughout the organization
  • Must have excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Minimum hiring salary of $55,000. Actual hiring salary based on qualifications of selected candidate
