The Manager of Technical Services has responsibility for the implementation and operations of Information Systems within the University of Virginia Health System (UVAHS). Accordingly, the Manager is responsible for planning, directing and coordinating the implementation of strategic Information Systems initiatives to preserve the availability, integrity and confidentiality of Health System information resources.

Position Compensation Range: $104,894.40 - $167,835.20 Annual

Manager of Enterprise & Cloud Infrastructure positions' primary duties will be to manage and support infrastructure and initiatives related to Health System Research, Database Services, and Community Health acquisitions integration. This position works in conjunction with existing Enterprise & Cloud Infrastructure leadership team and requires extensive experience managing staff, projects, and ongoing operational support.

Requires extensive technical experience with installation and support of Microsoft and RedHat operating systems, Microsoft SQL and MariaDB databases, Hyper-V virtualization, Clustering, server & storage hardware, and Microsoft Azure cloud services.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Education: Bachelor's Degree required.Experience: 7 years of demonstrated experience in related area with at least 5 years of leadership preferably in information technology within the healthcare industry. Excellent oral and written communication skills are critical to success in this position.Licensure: None

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

This is primarily a sedentary job involving extensive use of desktop computers. The job does occasionally require traveling some distance to attend meetings, and programs.
