Lead Line Cooks Wanted at FIREFLY Restaurant (1304 E Market Street)
FIREFLY is a casual family-friendly restaurant in Woolen Mills/Belmont area. We have great quality food, with a focus on local, vegetarian, gluten free, and healthy food options.
We are looking for a few individuals to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Knows basic cooking skills and able to uphold basic ServSafe standards.
- Able to stock and maintain a clean organized station.
- Trains and supervises other line cooks in the kitchen.
- Able to help with food prep during slower kitchen hours.
- Able close the kitchen cleanly and efficiently, and assist others in doing so.
- Able to complete related tasks assigned by Chef, or Manager on duty.
- Able to work in a fast-paced kitchen, and stay busy during off-peak hours
Requirements:
- Able to stand for 8 hours
- Must be dependable and have strong work ethic
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced working environment
- Good written and verbal communication
- Ability to lift 30-50lbs
-Ability to work nights, weekends, and some holidays
