Albemarle Estate is looking for a full-time housekeeper for our boutique hotel. Our housekeepers play a vital role in the overall guest experience. The purpose of this position is to ensure the cleanliness of rooms and public spaces. This position reports directly to the Hotel Manager.

¦ Location: 20 Minutes south of Downtown Charlottesville
¦ Hours: 8 hour shift between 9AM and 7PM
¦ Pay: $12 to $15/hour + Excellent Benefits

ESSENTIAL DUTIES
Perform a variety of cleaning activities including but not limited to: sweeping, mopping, dusting
Clean and maintain guest rooms to the highest standards
Perform turn down services for guest rooms
Follow standard operating procedures and safety regulations
Maintain clean and organized work spaces and stock rooms
Clean and maintain common areas while keeping to the highest standards
Clean, fold, iron and steam laundry
Ensure that every guest is being greeted with a smile and treated like family!
Reviews daily inventory of rooms, arrivals and departures
Reviews daily inventory of supplies needed to complete the assignments for the day
REQUIREMENTS:
Strong organizational skills required and attention to detail
Must be able to converse in English
Be able to push, pull, and lift up to 50 lbs
Comfortable on a ladder, dusting overhead, reaching, and twisting
Great customer service skills and professional attitude
Follow detailed instructions and complete tasks in a timely manner
Use standard housecleaning equipment (cart, vacuums, mops, brooms & various chemicals)
Work independently with little supervision and maintain a high level of performance
