Gaston & Wyatt has a forty-year reputation for creating some of the finest architectural millwork in the country, from our home here in Charlottesville. Our customers demand the highest level of quality and service in everything that we do. We are currently seeking an individual to join our family as a full time Warehouse and Delivery Associate. This is a service position, meaning that you are always serving either an internal or external customer.
General responsibilities include: Packaging our products with the same care and attention to detail as we do in creating it; assisting delivery manager and plant manager; loading/unloading trucks; keeping the warehouse orderly and clean. Must have the ability to drive or learn to drive box truck and a clean driving record. You must also have basic computer knowledge. Essential responsibilities include all duties required for the efficient receiving, storing and delivery of large windows, door and varied manufactured products; the ability to complete related paperwork; a willingness to work in a fast-paced environment; exceptional organizational skills; excellent communication skills, both internally and with our customers.
Workdays are Mon-Fri 7:30-4:30. This position requires the ability to be on your feet for extended periods, lift 80 pounds or more safely and work in warehouse and manufacturing environments. Must be dependable, arrive on time ready to work. Forklift certification highly desirable. Background and drug test required prior to employment.
