Provides system administration of clinical and business software systems in a healthcare setting. This includes serving as subject matter expert associated with application content, customer workflow, regulatory requirements, integration with other systems and devices and IT support procedures related to assigned applications. Is able to analyze and document user system and application needs, identify and evaluate alternative solutions to meeting those needs, help select the optimal solution and implement those solutions with guidance from more senior staff. Provides direct application support to include troubleshooting and resolving reported issues, updating and maintaining system configuration where appropriate.

Experience preferred supporting any of the following applications (or equivalent): Infian Time (dialysis), Obix Perinatal, AS-OBGYN Ultrasound, Breeze respiratory therapy, Sleepworks sleep diagnostics, Agility occupational health, Cactus physician credentialing, Rosch immunotherapy, Theradoc infection control, rL Datix, Mosaiq radiation oncology, Aria radiation oncology, Topcon ophthalmology.

Serves as subject matter expert associated with content, customer operational processes, regulatory requirements and IT support procedures related to assigned Health System applications. Is able to analyze and document user system and application needs, identify and evaluate alternative solutions and approaches to meeting those needs, help select the optimal solution and implement those solutions with guidance from more senior staff. Provides direct application support, updating and maintaining system setup, system configuration and application settings where appropriate.

  • Under general supervision performs and/or coordinates installation, maintenance, and modification of assigned Health System applications to meet customer and Health System requirements.
  • Acts as the liaison between the operational or functional users areas, vendors, and other technical staff.
  • Communicates technical requirements to teammates and management and provides assistance to teammates in an effort to enhance the overall services provided by the team.
  • Maintains or develops application and process documentation.
  • Responsibilities and tasks are completed according to established standards within the assigned timeframe, with guidance from more senior staff as needed. Includes use of project management and service management tools.
  • Solutions developed or modified are thoroughly tested to prevent production implementation problems.
  • Communicates appropriately and professionally at all times.
  • In addition to the above job responsibilities, other duties may be assigned.
Position Compensation Range: $28.25 - $45.19 Hourly

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Education: High School Degree required. Bachelor's Degree preferred.Experience: 3 years relevant experience. Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.Licensure: None required

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

This is primarily a sedentary job involving extensive use of desktop computers. The job does occasionally require traveling some distance to attend meetings and provide application support.
