Where preparation meets execution
The primary goal of this role is to build and maintain long-lasting customer relationships, in turn growing their book of business on an annual basis. This is accomplished by generating new accounts to participate in our adjudicated music festivals and tours as well as rebooking existing accounts. During Festival Season, our team members will participate in the execution of our Heritage Festivals events. You would also actively engage in post-trip service and follow-up with their customers.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
Prospect potential customers by telephone
Acquire new business while growing existing accounts
Effectively communicate the OnStage Value Proposition
Recommend specific festival tour packages
Provide clear and accurate program and pricing information
Actively maintain and manage a significant prospect portfolio
Field incoming inquiries and follow-up on marketing-driven leads
Maintain accurate, up-to-date account records and documentation within the CRM
Travel to participate in festival delivery and execution
Act as assistant to the Host Festival Director during first year of employment
Act as Host Festival Director during the second and subsequent years
Participate in ongoing sales and product training to continue to hone your skills and abilities
Additional responsibilities as needed
Qualifications:
Sales experience
Strong drive and ambition
Must have a positive attitude and exhibit high level of enthusiasm
Excellent communication skills
Self-disciplined with an aptitude to stay on task
Desire for continuous improvement and coach-ability
Ability to work independently as well as function within a team
Music background is preferred, but not required
Degree from an accredited college or university or equivalent sales experience
