Procurement AnalystProvides support and contributes subject matter expertise in the maintenance and enhancement of the Universitys procurement software (Jaggaer eProcurement, Jaggaer TCM, Jaggaer Sourcing, Workday, PaymentWorks). Contributes to timely completion of deliverables required by the established implementation plans, participates in University design workshops and supports the development of business process and role design documents. Develops impact assessments and assists in the identification of gaps. Completes hands-on functional and technical project activities related to procurement. Troubleshoots system errors through coordination with IT Department and Software Providers.30Data Collection and AnalysisCollects operational data related to Procurement activities and prepares statistical analyses, graphics, and presentations to demonstrate the effect of proposed changes or improvements to business processes and policies. Continuously engages with stakeholders to see how they are interacting with our current system, ask why, and document business needs for future system design.25Customer Service, Consulting, TrainingDemonstration of key product features, document requirements and design, and assists with knowledge transfer and training to targeted end users. Participates alongside a diverse set of university colleagues in user acceptance testing. Brings a customer service orientation and willingness to challenge and improve processes. Consults and partners with Procurement Leadership, central finance staff, Associate Deans and other staff throughout the University to identify and implement best practices.20Process AnalysisDelivers business process maps and documentation, analyzes current state processes and assists in translating to future state processes, assists in gathering requirements from process owners15Miscellaneous tasks as assignedOther duties as assigned10Required EducationBachelor's Degree or Equivalent Required ExperienceSome - up to 4 years If any experience is required, please specify kind of experience:At least four years of data analysis and business-related experience.Experience in a fast-paced office environment with requires quick thinking, and strong interpersonal skills. Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:Possesses excellent communications skills, including written, verbal, interpersonal, and proof reading. Is able to accomplish projects with little supervision and has a high customer service ethic and expectation for quality. Portrays a professional manner as a representative of UVA. Is a self-starter with the ability to manage multiple priorities and confidential information. Possesses ability to promote the adoption of new tools and improved business processes. Anticipated Hiring Range: $60k - $68k per year commensurate with education and experience. The University will perform background checks on all new hires prior to employment.
