Job Title: Security Guard - $500 Sign-On BonusLocation: Covington, VA Environment: Paper MillPay Rate: $16.00 / hr

$500 Sign-On Bonus ($250 after 30 Days on Post & $250 after 90 Days on Post)

General Job Functions: Full time and Part time Gate positions available. Provide access control to vendors and contractors entering the Paper Mill. This is a very busy site with heavy traffic flow.

Shift & Hours:

  • Choose the days and times that work for you!

  • Daylight shift - 6:00am-6:00pm

  • Overnight shift - 6:00pm-6:00am

  • 7 days a week
Included Benefits/Perks: 401k, Health Insurance, Dental Insurance, Vision Insurance (Full-time)

Immediately Hiring. No Resume or previous work experience required!

DCJS preferred but not required. If not certified, must be able to complete FieldPrint ($34) to begin working.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Job Responsibilities specific to this client site include, but are not limited to:

  • The security officer will provide security at the gate by providing access control to personnel.

General Security responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Provide excellent customer service to our clients
  • Observe, survey, and report activities at the assigned site
  • Respond quickly to critical situations
  • Ability to read and write detailed reports
  • Enforce client procedures, regulations, and standards

QUALIFICATIONS

Qualifications specific to this client site include, but are not limited to:
  • Must have DCJS License or ability to receive one
  • Fire Safety Certification is a bonus
  • At least 18 years of age or older as required by applicable law or contractual requirements

General Qualifications to work in physical security at GardaWorld include:
  • Possess at least a high school education or equivalent (GED)
  • Pass an extensive screening process
  • Security, Military, Law Enforcement Experience Preferred
  • Entry Level
