SimVentions, consistently voted one Virginia's Best Places to Work, is looking for an experienced Senior Systems Test Engineer to join our team and provide systems test support in an integrated contractor-government team developing and testing real-time weapons systems within A Dept at NSWCDD.
Responsibilities: The Senior Systems Test Engineer will provide system test support of real-time weapon systems. This person will lead and mentor more junior systems test engineers on the project(s). Required Skills and Experience:- At least six (6) years of experience data structuring related to system test of real-time weapons systems
- At least five (5) years if experience in following areas:
- Providing system or software testing of weapons systems
- Performing test activities including FQT/V&V, software/system integration testing, segment/system level testing, and/or Shipboard testing
- Applying CM processes and providing CCB support, including performing requirements traceability
- Experience communicating and documenting concepts via the generation of Configuration Management (CM) documentation, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), white papers, presentations, and technical data packages
- Experience and familiarity with command operations at Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD)
- Bachelors or Masters degree in an engineering, scientific or technical discipline plus 6-10+ years or more of experience
- or 10+ years of relevant expertise
- Certain PhDs with 2 years relevant experience allowable
