Maintenance and Repair, Service Technician needed Pinecrest Equipment
Sales Inc. based in Penhook, Va is a Worldwide Foodservice Equipment
Distributor for the Foodservice/Restaurant industry. We are currently looking
for PART and FULL TIME candidates that have basic mechanical, electrical,
HVAC, refrigeration and gas skills (Any of these are preferred but not all are
required) to work in our family oriented, fun environment. Some on-the-job
training provided.
Must be able to troubleshoot and work independently. Ideal candidates could
be High School or Technical School Students looking for part or full time
work. HVAC/refrigeration certification a plus but not required. Wage starts at
$10.00/hr and as high as $25/hr for experienced workers. Monday through
Friday hours. Weekends/nights are optional.
Qualifications preferred:
High school or technical school student, or other candidate looking
for part-time, weekend or full-time work.
Refrigeration Student is a plus, but not required.
The ability to troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventive
maintenance on refrigeration equipment such as reach-in refrigeration
boxes, Cooler display cases, Ice machines, salad / sandwich prep
tables, etc. (Hot side repair experience welcome as well - Stoves,
fryers, grills, etc.)
Operate hand tools, power tools, gauges, meters, and measuring
equipment to perform service of the unit
Ability to exert up to 50 pounds of force (pulling, pushing, lifting,
carrying, etc.).
Ability to climb and work from 6 ladder, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl,
reach, stand, walk, twist, grasp to perform essential job functions.
Ability to tolerate extreme warehouse environment conditions
consisting of extreme heat, cold, noise, vibration, dust, etc.
Ability to effectively communicate with management.
Ability to work independently, under pressure, and without close
supervision.
We're about 15 minutes to Rocky Mount, 45 mins to Roanoke, 30 mins
to Martinsville, 40 mins from Danville, off Rt 890, 6679 Snow Creek
