Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Senior Software Engineer for a 75% remote role, with 25% of work on site in Dulles, VA. This will also require up to 10% travel out of state for customer meetings.
Responsibilities of the Senior Software Engineer: • Hands on development with Python, C, C, Java • Utilize modern software development practices including Agile, DevSecOps, microservices, etc. • Lead development in partnership with architecture team • Work with both relational and NoSQL databases • Lead code reviews and optimization • Briefing and demoing to customer Requirements of the Senior Software Engineer: • Bachelors degree in Computer Science (Masters preferred) • Extensive experience coding in Python/C/C • Automation experience with Ansible, Puppet, Chef • Experience with Docker/Kubernetes/other containers • Cloud experience is a plus • Must be willing to travel up to 10% • Must be eligible for a government security clearance (Secret or higher)Compensation for the Senior Software Engineer: • $140,000-160,000 annual salary • Full Benefits: medical/dental/vision, 401k, PTO, paid holidaysKeywords: Python, Java, C, C, software, docker, Kubernetes, engineer, developer, security, angular, devops, devsecops, script, scripting, git, elk, elastic, cloud, aws, azureVacancy expired!
