Field Intelligence (FI) / Captured Enemy Material (CEM) Field Service Representative to work in our

Fairfax, VA office.

Job Description: The successful candidate will serve as the Subject Matter Expert in relation to the collection and handling of Sensitive Site Exploitation (SSE) or Captured Enemy Material (CEM), supporting triage and technical exploitation tasks in accordance with organizational intelligence requirements. As the Subject Matter Expert, the FI / CEM FSR must be able to work independently in austere work environments. The FI / CEM FSR must be able to quickly respond to technical requirements regarding Document and Media Exploitation (DOMEX) discipline to include sub-disciplines: Media Exploitation (MEDEX), Document Exploitation (DOCEX), Cellular Phone Exploitation (CELLEX), and Biometrics. The candidate will be expected to be familiar with technical exploitation software and capabilities used by the special operations community. While this position will be predominantly based in CONUS, it will require other CONUS and OCONUS travel, of up 33%. During travel, responsibilities include the installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting of all fielded equipment. Additionally, the FI / CEM FSR will provide broad mission support, trainings, briefings, and employment and fielding of the Technical Exploitation (TECHEX) capability, including digital forensics applications, tools, and systems. In this role, the FI / CEM FSR will support TECHEX and DOMEX operations associated with company deployed data systems (an analytics suite of hardware and software) to ensure overall effectiveness of the application of these systems to the customer workflow and mission statement. Through the employment of this data system, the FI / CEM FSR must be able to provide timely and accurate information from exploitation that answers the intelligence requirements of the organization. As such, being able to rapidly learn new software interfaces and processes, will be an essential attribute to a qualified candidate. Primary work location is in Fairfax/Ft Bragg, with occasional travel OCONUS

Required Skills:
  • Bachelor's degree;
    • Additional experience will be considered in lieu of degree.
  • Must hold an active Secret clearance.
  • Min. 4 years of all-source experience with former MOS 18F, 35F, 35L, 35M, 351L/M, 97B, 97E, 35E, USMC 0211 or civilian 1811/0132.
  • Experience conducting DOMEX intelligence support analysis.
  • Experience in drafting investigative reports, key target dossiers, link analysis diagrams, intelligence cables, and various other ad-hoc products at customer direction.
  • Ability to work with native-speaking population and translators.
  • Experience in hardware set-up and familiar with network/data communications concepts.
  • Ability to support troubleshooting TCP/IP (networking).
  • Ability to build and maintain chain of custody for CEM data.
  • Strong background working with mobile devices to enterprise level hardware (servers, etc.)
  • Experience with SOF intelligence analytic tradecraft.
  • Experience with forensics software and tools to include, EnCase, Fortress DB, Cellebrite UFED; familiar with tools such as: Magnet Forensics (IEF, AXIOM Process, Axiom Examine), Oxygen Forensics, X-Ways Forensics, Bulk Extractor, XRY, , FTK Imager, Forensics Falcon, Autopsy, CHINEX, MacQuistion, Blacklight
  • Experience designing, implementing and documenting computer forensics services to include evidence seizure, computer forensic analysis and data recovery.
  • Strong communications skills, speaking and writing.
  • Experience conveying technical information effectively and concisely to a wide range of audiences.
  • Experience conducting intelligence analysis and writing finished intelligence reporting
  • Experience with SIPRNet search engines and database retrieval tools such as QueryTree and M3 or other DoD tools.
  • Familiar with IC IIRs, and knowledge of HUMINT collection databases.
  • Knowledge of how Technical Exploitation enables the Intelligence Cycle.

Desired Skills:
  • Hold an active TS clearance.
  • Computer Forensics/Investigation training.
  • Experience or formal training in Forensic Systems, collections, and databases/architecture.
  • Experience with Encase, Nuix a plus; other digital forensics experience highly desired.
  • Special Operations/TF experience.
  • Experience conducting forensic examination of Digital Media including:
  • Advanced registry and Internet history analysis
  • Metadata extraction and analysis
  • Network forensics and analysis
  • Generate professional technical exploitation reports of interest to OTE customers and the IC
  • Provide SME-level technical support for federated partners, internal customers and deployed platforms
  • Assisting in the conduct of Site Exploitation activities
  • Provide technical support to field collection and other operational partner elements
  • Experience with debriefing and investigative methodologies
  • Working knowledge of and /or experience in supporting the CENTCOM AOR
