As an Estimating & Pricing Specialist you will be directly involved with cost proposal development including analysis of statement of work requirements, selection of appropriate estimating methodologies, substantiation of estimates/pricing, ensuring estimating system compliance and acquiring appropriate reviews and approvals of submissions to various Government and Non-Government team members.Our teams are currently hiring for a Mid-Level and Senior Estimating & Pricing Analyst.Responsibilities:Analyze request for proposal/quotation requirements, provided mentor-ship and recommendations to develop executable proposal plans of action, identify risks/opportunities, and coordinate artifacts required to meet turning points and ensure compliant cost proposal responses

Coordinate and collaborate with proposal teams and cost element functional owners to develop appropriate basis of estimate and substantiation of costs estimates, proposals and other related business decision data

Provide fact-finding, negotiation and audit support of cost proposal artifacts and coordinate responses through proposal teams, as required

Provide Estimating & Pricing subject matter expertise of processes, tools and techniques to maintain compliance with estimating system requirements

Identify, assess and implement changes to processes, tools and techniques to simplify estimating and pricing methodologies and improve cost estimating accuracy

Partner with Program Management, Contracts, Rates Management, Financial Operations and Cost Policy analysts to ensure compliance with new or evolving requirements impacting cost proposals and estimating system

Support, prepare and brief executive-level presentations, as required

This position allows telecommuting. The selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options.This position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.Basic Qualifications (Required Skills and Experience)Bachelor's Degree

4+ years of experience in business related function (including but not limited to: Finance, Contracts, Estimating, Procurement Financial Analysis, Business Operations, Supplier Management, Marketing & Sales)

Experience building proposals using pricing systems, estimating & pricing tools and processes

Experience in Microsoft Office suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access and Project

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills and Experience)8+ years of experience in business related function (including but not limited to: Finance, Contracts, Estimating, Procurement Financial Analysis, Business Operations, Supplier Management, Marketing & Sales

Master's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or a related field

Solid understanding of USG Cost Accounting Standards and Federal Acquisition Regulations

Experience with ProPricer

Strong critical thinking, problem solving, negotiation, communication and social skills

Comfortable working in a highly multifaceted and team with varied strength's environment with the ability to work across business units, functions and tailor communication to all skill levels within the organization

Ability to work both independently as well as in a team environment and be highly adaptable to the needs generated by the day-to-day activities of management and the organization

Typical Education/Experience:Mid-Level (Level 3)Bachelor's and typically 6 or more years’ related work experience, a Master’s degree and typically 4 or more years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.Senior (Level 4)Bachelor's degree and typically 10 or more years’ related work experience, a Master’s degree and typically 8 or more years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.Relocation:Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position.
