Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a

Forescout Engineer to support a critical CDM program for Department of Homeland Security. The team is seeking a dynamic engineer well versed in Forescout deployment and implementation to support this multi-agency mission.

Clearance: Secret clearance

Location:

Fairfax, VA (predominantly remote, on-site on as needed basis)

Responsibilities of the Forescout Engineer:

• Experience configuring, optimizing and troubleshooting the Forescout platform, including the eyeSight and eyeInspect security products.

• Document Forescout operations, configurations and changes.

• Develop and test Forescout policies to ensure desired data collection and integration.

• Work with client's technical support teams, providing Tier III support.

• Perform engineering, design and implementation of various security solutions and products, including architecture reviews, vendor engagement, evaluating against requirements, configuration and testing of security tools.

• Develop and maintain client deliverable documentation, including solution design, deployment plans, implementation architecture, configuration requirements and concept of operations (CONOPS).

• Provide engineering support of cyber security products used for capabilities such as hardware and software asset management, vulnerability management and configuration settings management.

• Engage and collaborate with project team, customer stakeholders and technical/security personnel to ensure program and customer requirements are met.

Qualifications of the Forescout Engineer:

•

Active Secret Clearance

• BS degree and 8 years of experience (12+ years in lieu of degree) in either information security, software development or systems engineering.

• Experience with asset management security solutions and their implementation.

• Understanding of federal cybersecurity guidance, such as: NIST SP 800-37 - Guide for Applying the Risk Management Framework to Information Systems and Organizations: A System Life Cycle Approach for Security and Privacy; NIST 800-137 - Information Security Continuous Monitoring (ISCM) for Federal Information Systems and Organizations.

• Demonstrated understanding of end-to-end systems development lifecycle (SDLC).

• Demonstrated ability to recommend and implement processes to deliver technology solutions.

Compensation of the Forescout Engineer:

• Total compensation based on experience level - $150,000 - $170,000+
