The SEC ISS program is a comprehensive IT program charged with operating, managing, and advancing the SEC’s IT infrastructure. Our dynamic program team of IT leaders and large and small business partners is seeking bright, energetic and talented individuals to join us as we bring our innovative IT Service Delivery solutions to SEC. Currently, we are seeking a Unix/Linux Administrator. Candidates must be US Citizens (without dual citizenship) and eligibility for a Public Trust clearance.Duties:
Responsible for the day-to-day administration of the UNIX/LINUX Server infrastructure.
Maintains and manages servers hardware and software.
Performs imaging of servers utilizing common imaging tools.
Performs patching, hardening, and automated deployments.
Performs basic troubleshooting and escalates complex issues to Senior Admins.
Works primarily in a virtualized environment.
Required: Qualifications:
Must have a minimum of 3 years of experience administrating servers and systems, specializing in UNIX/LINUX operating systems.
Must possess a Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA) certification or equivalent certification or 5 years of relevant experience.
