Overview
Our direct and largest client is a member of the Fortune 500. A leading Federal Integrator, they provide a pioneering vision to the Federal Government through bold ideas and outcomes by accelerating digital process automation. They are looking for a Junior Full Stack Developer for a Federal project in Fairfax, VA. The project is transitioning applications from legacy databases, and you will work on a team to create high-quality digital services and solutions based on user need. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, experience with Agile software development, and be an effective collaborator working with cross-functional teams. Per our Federal Government Contract, candidates must be U.S. Citizens and be able to pass the client's background requirements. Per the President's Executive Order 14042 passed in September 2021, all Federal contractors and subcontractors providing services to the government are required to have full COVID-19 vaccinations (whether onsite or remote), except in limited circumstances where a worker receives an approved medical or religious accommodation. Qualifications- Bachelor's Degree is required
- 2+ years of recent experience working with RESTful APIs/Spring Services/Spring MVC along with object relational mapping platforms like Spring Data/Hibernate or similar ORM solutions
- 1+ years of recent experience with the following:
- Working with Java/J2EE application working with Java/J2EE application servers like Tomcat, WebLogic, or JBoss, etc.
- Developing and implementing web 2.0 applications using open source technologies like HTML/CSS, JavaScript, Bootstrap, AngularJS, jQuery
- Using software development tools like Eclipse/STS, Git, Maven, Ant, Jenkins
- Databases (especially Oracle)
- Designing and performing unit tests and automated tests
- Per our Federal Government Contract, candidates must be U.S. Citizens and be able to pass the client's background requirements
