This position will be located in Falls Church, VA.Responsibilities:
Provides strong leadership, mentorship, and expertise for other organizational members, cross functional teams, and projects
Analyzes large data sets and existing operational processes to make recommendations for future investments
Analyzes and makes recommendations for acquisition, maintenance & enhancement of capital assets and equipment.
Assists with digital tool recommendations
Supports research and advanced new applications
Possesses strong knowledge, experience, and technical respect relating to maximizing the value of Advanced Manufacturing
Advocates for technical differentiation
Participates in customer, industry, and/or academic, advisory boards or consortiums
Champions company values, including safety, best practices, and continuous improvement
Provides personnel technical development through leadership, team building, mentorship, and shared knowledge
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in a related discipline and 10 years of relevant experience OR Master's degree with 8 years of relevant experience. (A combination of years of experience and education can be considered in lieu of the degree requirement)
Experience in managing employees in a high paced environment
Experienced project manager or equivalent with experience leading diverse functional or program teams, driving outcomes and achieving results
Demonstrated experience working with matrixed or virtual teams
Excellent organizational, verbal, and written communications skills
Demonstrated experience in project management, analysis, planning, presentation, and human relations' skills are required
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience leading a Multifunctional team
Knowledge of tracking budgets and providing cost estimates.
Practical experience with Continuous Improvement, Lean Manufacturing and Manufacturing Experience in an Aerospace Manufacturing environment
Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and the ability to interface with all levels of employees and management
Salary Range: $145,500 USD - $218,900 USDEmployees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
