#LI-corporatejobs #APP21 PAE is seeking a Systems Administrator who has the experience necessary to help build out our existing infrastructure and troubleshoot problems as they arise. Overall technical support includes IT infrastructure services, engineering design, telecommunications services, emergency response, IT transformation and surge/special projects. The ideal candidate for this position can prioritize mission critical tasks and coordinate the construction and expansion of our IT enterprise systems.

The Systems Administrator will report to the Manager, IT Infrastructure Team Lead and serve as a company-wide resource responsible for delivery of enterprise IT infrastructure services and operations. Primary objectives are to provide information technology services that are secure, available, reliable and deliver responsive, dependable customer support.

Essential Job Duties
  • Responsible for enterprise IT infrastructure services to include network, server, storage, database and cloud provisioning and administration.
  • Execution of day-to-day routine tasks related to the 24/7 operation of technology services, components, and applications.
  • Ensure systems are maintained, proper change control processes are followed, along with any personnel system rights are documented and reviewed.
  • Ensure IT systems and services meet SOX and all relevant contractual, regulatory compliance and industry standards.
  • Support all issues with the internal systems and network infrastructure to include patching, upgrades, and troubleshooting.
  • Manage VMware vSphere/vCenter/ESXi infrastructure; to include patching, upgrades and troubleshooting VMware related issues.
  • Manage services for Microsoft related technologies: Windows Active Directory, File Server, Print Server, WDS/MDT etc.
  • Support backup and disaster recovery solutions.
  • Communicate with customers as required: keeping them informed of incident progress,
  • Monitor existing systems to ensure structural integrity.
  • Write custom scripts to reduce the need for human intervention.
  • Plan, implement, install, operate, and maintain systems hardware, software applications and Information Technology infrastructure.
  • Support staff and end user with resolution of systems issues, malfunctions, or software programming problems.
  • Install and implement new programs, modules, servers, hardware, network equipment when necessary to upgrade, improve resources or increase compatibility.

Qualifications:
  • Must be a results-oriented, cross-functional leader with strong business acumen.
  • IT professional with bachelor's degree in a technology-related field
  • 6+ years' experience in system engineering and IT support required.
  • 5+ years of experience performing the duties of a Systems Administrator designing enterprise system architectures and implementing solutions within hybrid technology ecosystems; including Microsoft Windows OS server and VMware.
  • Understanding of cloud and SaaS platform-based company operations, and infrastructure.
  • Experience creating automated scripts and software preferred.
  • Must have a working knowledge of industry best practices (SCRUM, ITSM/ITIL, NIST, ISO, SANS, COBIT) and Legislative, SOX, Regulatory and Industry Compliance Requirements and associated frameworks.
  • Systems Implementation - multiple experiences implementing applications and systems, integrations and managing the process to design, build, test and deploy systems.
  • Proven work history in delivering key initiatives, such as technology migrations, new product launches, deployment of applications.
  • Willing to periodically work nights and weekends to process, monitor and support patching and month end closing activities and special projects.
  • Excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills.
  • Strong attention to detail, with a commitment to high quality work.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication.

Additional Qualifications:
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a US Government issued TS security clearance.
