Zachary Piper Solutions is currently seeking a Software Test Engineer to support a long term government contract in Falls Church, VA. The Software Test Engineer will identify and create detailed test cases and test scripts and map to appropriate requirements and design specifications. Candidates must be eligible to obtain a Public Trust clearance.
Responsibilities- Support the test leads by creating detailed performance test tasks for the work plan and providing accurate status of these tasks.
- Perform manual and automated testing of web applications and back-end data processes for a big data and analytics platform.
- Work to create SQL queries, navigate through UNIX, and evaluate results.
- Data Manipulation experience.
- Need to have hands-on experience.
- Minimum 3 years experience
- UNIX/Linux experience preferred
- Experience in Cassandra is a plus.
- Strong experience with SQL complex queries
- Data manipulation experience
- Strong "backend experience"
- $80,000 to $100,000 Depending on experience.
- Ability to obtain a Public Trust Clearance
