Responsibilities

The Information Operations (IO) Social Media Lead is responsible for leading a team countering hostile and adversary activities in the Information Environment (IE) through online passive monitoring and active engagement while providing a capability to provide early warning of adversary activity against US and DoD objectives. Responsible for leading a team of personnel that that will analyze Publically Available Information within the IE, identify Indications and Warnings, and deliver approved content to counter adversary's messages in social media. In support of US Army, conduct Open Source research and intelligence guidance and support to forward entities and interagency partners providing current operations support, targeting information, and enabling follow-on operations. Ensure team is responsive to information operation requests to monitor, analyze, plan, develop and engage in the online information environment to disrupt and degrade adversary social media operations.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:
  • Clearance: Top Secret/SCI with ability to obtain a CI poly
  • Master's Degree in Business Management or technical field
  • Six years' experience in

    two of the following:
  • Open Source Research
  • Monitoring and Analyzing online activities of adversaries
  • Utilizing tools, databases and websites to collect and analyze data and information to include online videos, broadcasts, and social media platforms.
  • Desired Qualifications:
    • Five or more year's active duty military, civilian or contractor performance working Army or DoD information operations
    • Experience in all functional areas (open source research, monitoring adversary online activities, and using tools and databases for online data collection) listed in required qualifications
    • Demonstrated experience in successfully supervising Open Source research functions
    • Excellent organizational and time management skills
    • Superb communications skills, both oral and written
