DSA is looking for an experienced platform engineer to join our cloud development team supporting an important intelligence community customer. The platform engineer will be responsible for the creation, maintenance and ongoing development of continuous build / integration infrastructure, building and maintaining highly available systems using Docker and Kubernetes, and supporting management of CI/CD pipelines. Required Experience: Software programming, scripting, or markup languages, including Bash (preferred), Ansible (preferred), Puppet, Salt, Python, Golang (preferred), C, C, XML, HTML, JSON, or YAML (preferred) Provisioning, installation, configuration, operation, and maintenance of software and infrastructure-as-code in a DevOps and continuous delivery environment using automated deployment frameworks (terragrunt, terraform experience preferred) Experience with containers (docker, kubernetes preferred), serverless architecture, micro-services, Web services, RESTful API design Experience with Linux operating systems and command-line interfaces Experience with software version control systems, including Git 3 years experience with commercial cloud service providers engineering solutions in a Linux and Windows multi-tenant environment on commercial cloud services (Amazon Web Services or Microsoft Azure). 10 years' experience designing and implementing information management systems Experience in product development, requirements generation, and testing methodologies, including direct control and responsibility over subordinate engineers working requirements, design, implementation, and testing of distributed cloud applications and services. Experience in development, implementation, and administration of multi-tenant, enterprise web-based solutions using automated processes and tools to perform system availability and integrity monitoring, validate security and configuration compliance, and ensure sensitive data protection. Software programming, scripting, or markup languages, including Bash (preferred), Ansible (preferred), Puppet, Salt, Python, Golang (preferred), C, C, XML, HTML, JSON, or YAML (preferred) Desired Experience: Experience with Amazon Web Services Experience with Agile development methodologies and ceremonies Required Education & Certifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT or Engineering field, or 15 years' professional experience may be substituted DoD 8570 or 8140 IAT Level II Certification such as Security+ and computing environment certification such as AWS or Rhel, or ability to obtain within first 30 days of hire TS or TS/SCI required.
