The Lake of the Woods Assoc., Inc., a large HOA located in Locust Grove, VA, is seeking a qualified Controller to supervise the Finance staff regarding day to day transactions and management of the monthly close process to include preparation of monthly Financial Statements. The Controller is responsible for preparation of the monthly financial reporting package which includes interaction with Operation Center Managers and Senior Staff. The successful candidate will assist in the coordination of the annual audit and interact with auditors to resolve issues. Audit experience, public or internal preferred. Must possess Bachelor's Degree in accounting with 3 - 5 years progressive experience in a finance environment preferably a member-based association. Proficiency with Accounting Software such as Jonas or other membership management software. Skills to include spreadsheet proficiency (Microsoft Office Suite) and effective communication skills. Required: valid VA driver's license and able to pass background and financial check. Salary commensurate with background. Resumes received by February 15, 2019 will receive priority consideration.
