Perform testing, installation, maintenance and repair of electronic and electrical control systems. Requires ability to troubleshoot 4-20 mA loops and digital 24 VDC / 120 VAC circuits, to go online with PLCs for diagnostics and troubleshooting. Ability to calibrate instrumentation is a plus. You'll service a wide variety of clients in numerous environments. Candidates must be prepared to work safely and efficiently, meeting our requirements and those of our customers in a variety of work situations. A background in SCADA systems, PLC / HMI programming and instrumentation is especially valuable. Desirable skills/training include:
- Allen-Bradley PLCs
- RS Logix 500/5000
- Fundamentals of Electricity
- Process Control and Automation
- Instrumentation and Calibration
A valid driver's license and reliable transportation are conditions of employment. This position requires travel to customer locations, many of which are local to the Fredericksburg area, but occasional travel out of town, and out of state will be necessary.
