We are a mission-based business devoted to supporting individuals with developmental disabilities and autism in a variety of settings. We are looking for Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) to provide ABA Services in Virginia (Fredericksburg-Prince William County). We are looking for employees who are flexible in spirit, have a positive attitude, and are capable of supporting people with significant behavioral challenges.

Registered Behavior Technicians are primarily responsible for the direct implementation of behavior-analytic services. RBTs work directly with children, teaching them communication, social, and play skills. This instruction will occur in the natural context of a child's home, school, or other community setting. RBTs are trained in state-of-the-art instruction based on the principles of applied behavior analysis (ABA) and receive supervision from an experienced Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). The hours can include weekend and evening shifts.

Responsibilities:

Provide 1:1 home-based ABA services for youth under the age of 21 with Autism Spectrum Disorder or other developmental disabilities

Provide parent training and support client's caregivers through a variety of methods

Collaborate with other professionals from various agencies in the community including: social services, schools, physicians, etc.

Participate in training and clinical supervision that focus on integrating ABA with other effective therapeutic strategies

Work with Board Certified Behavior Analysts to maximize effectiveness of interventions as delineated in client's treatment plans

Implementation of behavior treatment programs as designed by the supervising Behavior Analyst

Collection of data and completion of treatment notes as required

Requirements:

HS diploma required

Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Early Childhood Education or related field preferred

Minimum 1 year of experience working with special needs population; experience working with children who have developmental disabilities preferred

Experience with interventions to address maladaptive behaviors
