Junior Full-Stack Software Developer

SimVentions, consistently voted one of Virginia's Best Places to Work, is looking for a junior Software Developer to join our team! Ideal candidates will have at least two years of experience developing software. They should be familiar with Scrum or SAFe development methodologies and development within a micro service architecture.

Responsibilities:
  • Developing code for new functionality
  • Creating, executing, and improving unit tests for code segments
  • Reviewing team member pull requests for errors or inefficiencies
  • Providing guidance to team testers as they create automated tests for workflows or other system functions
  • Presenting new or enhanced functionality during regularly scheduled product reviews and demonstrations

Required Skills & Experience:
  • Coding languages (especially C#)
  • .NET core
  • Angular and/or TypeScript
  • Relational databases
  • Security+ Certification

Preferred Skills & Experience:
  • SQL Server
  • Azure DevOps Server (previously TFS)
  • Jenkins
  • ElasticSearch
  • CI/CD methods and practices
  • Containerization platforms (RedHat Openshift, Kubernetes, Docker, etc.)
  • Automated testing tools (e.g. TestCafe Studio)
  • AI/ML

Education: Bachelors of Science in Computer Science

Minimum Clearance: Ability to obtain Secret
