American Pool is looking for trained Lifeguards and people interested in becoming Lifeguard Certified. We are hiring candidates in the Fredricksburg and Dumfries area. Part time and Full time opportunities exist and we offer a wide array of training opportunities for those that are interested.
Salary dependent on pool selection and experience and certificates
Job Summary
Responsible for ensuring the safety of facility patrons by preventing and responding to emergencies.
Job Duties & Responsibilities:
Recognize and respond quickly and effectively in emergencies.
Enforce all aquatic facility policies, rules and regulations.
Inspect the facility on a daily schedule and report any unsafe conditions or equipment to the supervisor.
Complete records and reports.
Participate in regular in-service training.
Maintain fitness level (swimming skills, strength and endurance).
Complete additional duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Minimum Job Requirements:
Be at least 15 years of age
Have already passed and be able to pass the RED CROSS LIFEGUARDING CLASS
Positive attitude and the desire to have a great summer!
