Computer Pros Today, a local mobile and remote service company, is presently seeking computer service technicians. Candidates should be able to handle all major or minor PC repair issues from virus and spyware removal, to hardware troubleshooting and basic network setup.
Our technicians work both on-site and remotely performing computer repairs, upgrades, installations and consultation. When not on-site, technicians work from home providing remote technical support for clients. Our technicians also help clients make smart technology decisions and sell on-site services.
Travel to client's business office or home; and/or work remotely
Make basic and advanced repairs on computers and laptops

Data backup
Wireless Networks
Troubleshoot
Network Issues Install and Configure Software
Provide Basic Server Maintenance Respond to client inquiries in a friendly and professional manner
Facilitate solution of sales, upgrades, installations, and service on-site and remotely Provide detailed documentation of all work Uphold the Computer Pros Today standard and brand at all times
Maintain and upgrade skills required to perform advanced tech solutions
Seek opportunities to increase and leverage skills
Other related duties as assigned
Preferred Qualifications
Possess A+ certification and one or more of the following: Network+, Security+, Server+, MCP, MSCE, CCent, CCT 2 years advanced PC setup, network, repairincluding setup, software/hardware installation, data backup, diagnostic and troubleshooting 1 year customer service or retail experience Proficiency in Microsoft Windows, MAC and Microsoft Office Willingness to provide solution offerings to clients and up-sell products Professional Appearance
Requirements
21 years of age or more Reliable transportation, Valid Virginia driver's license, Lift or maneuver 50 lbs. with or without reasonable accommodation, and pass a criminal background check.
Up-training and Vendor-based training are provided. Candidate must be able and willing to learn and utilize our specific procedures.
Computer Pros Today technicians are paid a generous per billable hourly rate of $20 to $25, based on experience. Additional compensations is earned through the offering or our loyalty program and upgraded solutions. An experienced technician can easily earn $50/hour.
